Fifteen Pintail (inc. 7 males) at Grovebury 12/11/2011, put up by a low flying helicopter.

Grovebury Waders

A selection of waders seen at Grovebury over the two spring Bank Holidays, Whimbrel, Grey Plovers, Oyc., Comm. Sandp. Dunlin and two different groups of seven Barwits. 23rd Apr-2nd May 2011

These three were present on Friday 22/04/11, they stayed for the morning at least.

Colour ringed Common Tern

This juv. Common Tern has spent the past week at Grovebury, it is one of the forty ringed at Wilstone Reservoir this year.
