Shock Bird!
This bird gave me a bit of a start today. It flew up from the rape and past before I could ready my camera and 1st impressions might have suggested something other than Carrion Crow. Interesting bird though!

Willington Ouzel
Went for a walk around Willington early morning looking for Nightingale and Turtle Doves among the summer visitors and was pleasantly surprised to find a female Ring Ouzel on the grass on the southern side of the settling lagoon feeding with two Mistle Thrushes. Made a change from finding them on the southern chalk slopes.
